Kay Bosgraaf, b. 1944, received her Ph.D. in Education: Curriculum and Instruction (English) from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and has completed residencies at Vermont Studio Center and MacDowell Artists’ Colony. She has taught creative writing, rhetoric, composition and literature at Michigan State University, Lincoln Memorial University in Appalachia and at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland. Her book Song of Serenity: Poems was one of three winners in a competition sponsored by Northwoods Journal. She currently teaches on occasion as an adjunct professor at regional colleges and universities. She lives in North Carolina with her husband Richard and puppy Rose.
