Roberta Gould

Roberta Gould, b. 1946,taught Romance languages for twenty years at  Brooklyn College and briefly at the  University of California in Berkeley. Her poems have appeared in Poetry Now, The New York Times, Green Mountain, Confrontation, Helicon Nine, Socialism and Democracy, The Catholic Worker, Milkweed Chronicle, Mid-American Review, Jewish Currents, Naugatuck Review, among other, and in anthologies including Mixed Voices, A Slant of Light, Rage Before Pardon and The Art and Craft of Poetry. She has translated Spanish language poets:  Inés de la Cruz, Salvador Espriu, José Watanabe, Pedro Garfias and Jorge Luis Borges.  She lives in the Hudson Valley, New York.
